Developers can use the Joint Equity Scheme to sell their houses & flats more quickly to a wider market.
► How?
Developers can use the Joint Equity Scheme to sell their houses and flats more quickly to a wider market.
Joint Equity allows people who are excluded from property ownership, by salary multiple constraints, or lack of deposit to buy their own homes which will, in the majority of cases, satisfy affordable housing criteria.
Developers can choose to have a Joint Equity Investor Partner involved or they can retain the investment proportion themselves.

► Flexibility
The Joint Equity Scheme is so flexible that the Developer can mix and match to maximise their current income with future capital growth.
It is difficult to understate the marketing impact of adding Joint Equity to the sales literature.
► Affordable housing has just become attractive
Joint Equity shared home ownership satisfies the current criteria for affordable housing requirements, but it does so without adversely affecting the value of the rest of the development.
Nor do we have occupier conditions like those that Housing Association might have, such as prioritising occupiers who are on the local council housing waiting list.
