Selling property with Joint Equity
► Who sells with Joint Equity?
You can sell your property with Joint Equity as:
A Joint Equity Owner Partner
A Vendor Partner
A Developer Partner
An Estate Agent Partner
► Joint Equity Owners
Eventually an Owner-Partner will want to sell up and move on and with Joint Equity
its very easy. Full details here
► Joint Equity Investors
A Joint Equity Investor can never sell a property from under their Owner-Partner.
However, they can sell their equity share, either:
1. To their Owner-Partner, who has the first option to buy the rest of the property,
but is not obliged to do so, or;
2. To another Investor-Partner within the Joint Equity Scheme.
3. When the Owner Partner also wants to sell their share.
More.
► Vendors
Vendor-Partners are people who bought their home outside the Joint Equity Scheme
but want to offer it for sale to the widest possible number of potential buyers.
They may also be motivated by the desire to help others gain a foothold on the property
ladder. With Joint Equity they can offer the property for sale with 50% support from
one of our Investor-Partners.
So, a £150k property is offered to the buyer as a £75k Joint Equity property with
no reduction in income to the vendor.
As a Joint Equity Vendor, you can also retain part of the property, by becoming one
of our Investors. More.
► Developers
Developer-Partners can offer their properties with the benefit of Joint Equity Investor
support, and can use the Joint Equity Scheme to fulfil their “affordable housing”
requirements.
The developer may even become the Joint Equity Investor providing even greater returns.

► Estate Agents
Estate-Agent Partners are estate agents who have exclusive geographical areas where
they are able to offer their client’s properties for lower headline costs as Joint
Equity properties.
This brings the price into the range of many more potential buyers and means more
instructions, and quicker and more sales. More.
► Buy-to-Let Investors
Finally if you have an under-performing or management intensive Buy-to-let investment
you can avoid selling the whole investment by selling a % share to an incoming Owner
Partner through the Joint Equity Scheme.
In this way you can release built up equity, retain the growth potential, increase
your annual income by lowering costs and risk.
