► A simple process
Once the Owner-Partner has decided they want to join the Joint Equity Scheme they are listed on our Investment Register highlighted in the Investor Alerts and added to the investment section of the Investor’s Newsletter
The Investors Newsletter is available to both registered and non-registered Investor-Partners, and provides the Investor-Partner with basic details.
However, only Registered Investor-Partners can access the Investment Register and request Illustrations which provide detailed information on the investment. If the investment suits the Investor-Partner they can then reserve it. For details of how to become a Registered Investor-Partner please follow this link.

► Contracted Investment Category
There are 2 categories of reservation within the Joint Equity Scheme :-
Contracted - where the Owner-Partner (OP) has found a specific property and has made an offer. The OP has paid their commitment fee and started the application for a Joint Equity mortgage. 

A 1st reservation in this category requires you to pay the Investor-Partner commitment fee. This fee is refunded when the purchase is completed or if we fail to find the Owner-Partner a mortgage. This fee is not refunded if the Investor-Partner does not proceed after reservation is accepted.

We will take up to 2 secondary reservations, as reserves, which do not require commitment fees. 
► Provisional Investment Category
Provisional - where the OP has had a Joint Equity Illustration and is actively looking but has not yet found a property. 

A reservation in this category does not require a commitment fee and gives you first option when the OP has found their property and moves to the Contracted category. The reservation can be withdrawn by the Investor without costs being incurred.

As with Contracted we can accept a 1st reservation and 2 secondary reservations for each property in the Provisional category.

► Investment Status
The Opportunity Register and the Investor Weekly Newsletter include the status of  investments. There are 4 investment status levels:

Open – no reservations have been accepted yet

1st – the first reservation has been accepted (the commitment fee has been paid, if applicable)

2nd – the second reservation has been accepted

Closed – all three reservations have been accepted
